Veterinary CPD and Training Events for Pet Proffesionals and Pet Enthusiasts
We will host a range of events throughout the year, both in-person at both our Beverley and Sherburn centres, as well as on-line.
We are very pleased to have a range of speakers planned to come and provide training and accredited CPD in their specialist subjects, ranging from emergency nursing, medical nursing, surgical nursing and specific conditions, as well as providing our own CPD on rehabilitation, nursing clinics, senior pet care and behaviour.
We also provide accredited first aid certificates and training events on behaviour, pet care and handling for pet proffesionals in our area.

Nursing the Spinal Patient: From First Opinion Practice and Beyond
Monday 1th March 4pm-7pm
Operation K9- Unit 1, Beckside, Annie Reed Rd, Beverley HU17 0LF
This 2 part CPD will look at some of the common causes of spinal cord injury in veterinary patients and detail the nursing actions and interventions we can implement, to ensure the best patient care from first admit.
We will also cover some rehabilitation modalities and techniques and discharge advice for owners. We will also cover how you can prevent these cases through owner education, including home adaptations.
